Welcome to Elsa’s Inn on the Harbor

We are very lucky to have so many guests who return regularly.  Of course, in 2020 many chose not to travel and then, as the summer in Maine opened up a little, we enjoyed meeting many first-time visitors to the area.  Most found us because they were looking for a safe and healthy alternative to more populous areas in Maine as well as elsewhere.  We hope you will all come back as soon as you feel it is safe to travel.

We are moving slowly with regard to opening reservations for the 2021 season, waiting to see what the public health climate will look like.  Recent news regarding vaccines is encouraging and this area tends to offer safe activities (a lot of outdoor things to see and do, away from the crowds).  So, if you are considering a visit next season, or sooner, please give us a call, (207) 963-7571.  We are happy to make a tentative reservation for you and then we will be back in touch with you to confirm your reservation before we open up availability on-line to the general public.

We are so looking forward to seeing our friends and guests able to return again.

Elsa’s, an award-winning luxury bed and breakfast, is in the heart of the scenic Schoodic Peninsula. Each of Elsa’s six well-appointed guest rooms offers a large private bath and harbor view, including historic Prospect Harbor Light. Guests can enjoy cable television, Wifi or watch the workings of the harbor from the privacy of their room or enjoy the views from the shaded front porch.
